The 2022 MLB season starts in 15 days, so what better time to share my favorite images from 2021 than now?

Fans were back in seats, photo friends were back in the wells, and Salvy was back at the plate crushing homers. All was right in the world for my third year with MLB.

Women's Big XII Tournament for USATSI

For the first time since 2011, the Baylor Lady Bears weren't the ones hoisting the trophy at the end of the weekend. Texas upset them on Sunday with a great outing by freshman Rori Harmon.

It was great to be back on the floor at Municipal Auditorium for the first time since the pre-COVID era, and I’m a big fan of the new lighting they installed at the arena.

Hats off to all of the amazing women that competed this weekend and the women in media I met covering the tournament as well.

SoloQ for Red Bull Media

Some brands have funny twitter accounts that endear you to them, others make memorable, comedic Super Bowl commercials you quote for years to come; and then there are other brands that blow you away with their appearance: sleek, cohesive, cool. Red Bull is the latter. I know them for their involvement in Formula One and other extreme/offbeat sports, as well as the gorgeous media they produce just as much, if not more so, than the energy drink their brand was built on. In short: they are a dream client of mine.

Last month I had the opportunity to work with them for the first time and had an absolute blast covering my first esporting event in Overland Park, Kan. at the new LEVELUP Arena.
