Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LIV Victory Parade

The Kansas City Chiefs hosted a victory parade through downtown Kansas City, Missouri (*ahem*) after winning their first Super Bowl in 50 YEARS on Sunday in Miami. It was freezing outside, but the day started off with a bang — no really. There was a high-speed police car chase on the parade route at 8:00 a.m. Despite the cold, it was great to see the players and associated staff celebrating an incredible season. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day, taken from the media platform at Grand Boulevard and 20th Street.

MLB: Second Half

The 2019 MLB season is over and it's hard to believe that I've photographed 80 (!!) games this year – 78 at Kauffman Stadium here in KC, and two at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio for Players' Weekend. It was a marathon of a baseball season, but I learned so much and had a blast working alongside some of the best in the biz. Thank you so, so much to the MLB Live Content team for this opportunity.

2019 Big XII Men's Basketball Tournament for Imagn

I had the privilege of photographing the 2019 Big XII Men's Basketball Tournament for the second year last weekend. Those four days at Sprint Center are among my favorite of the year. I grew up a Big XII sports fan, attended a (formerly) Big XII school and love watching how the rivalries unfold and the records don't seem to matter at the end of the season. This year's tournament was great fun and full of nail-biting moments. Here are some of my favorite photos from the first three rounds.

NCAA Volleyball Championship for USATSI

Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City hosted the NCAA Volleyball Championship this weekend and I was fortunate enough to be there to document the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers defeat the University of Florida Gators in front of a packed house. The energy was amazing and I had a blast covering the event. Here are a few of my favorite images from the match.
